project description
Heartland Engineering recently assisted the City of West Plains with several utility system design projects. Our initial contract involved the design of a 12-inch raw water feedline to supply the city’s drinking water treatment facility. The original watermain that was installed in corridor that caused the line to be difficult to maintain. The new water line will be placed in an open area, allowing City staff easier access for maintenance and repairs.
Our firm is also is working on the design for the relocation of a sanitary sewer main in West Plains. This redesign will move the sewer main from a local commercial site to a new area where the owner’s ability to develop additional businesses will be minimally impacted.
