project description
Drinking Water Main and Wastewater Sewer Main Relocations for the City of West Plains
Heartland Engineering recently assisted the City of West Plains with several utility system design projects. Our initial contract involved the design of a new 12-inch raw water feedline to supply the city’s drinking water treatment facility. The original water main was installed in a narrow corridor, which made maintenance of the line difficult. The new water line will be placed in an open area, allowing city staff easier access for maintenance and repairs.
Our firm is also completed the design for the relocation of a sanitary sewer main in West Plains. This redesign moved the sewer main from a local commercial site to a new area, allowing the landowner much improved flexibility in developing additional businesses on the site.
