3D Model-Based Systems Engineering
At Heartland, we pride ourselves on being able to use the most recent technological innovations to provide exceptional expertise and design to our clients. We use advanced Autodesk modeling software, including Plant 3d, Revit, and Infraworks to help conceptualize our infrastructure projects. We use these products to simulate completed construction projects as they would appear in the built environment. The benefits to this approach are manifold and include the ability to create accurate inventories and construction quantities and the minimization of potential errors, while also allowing for more sophisticated ways to communicate design concepts with our clients. Building a comprehensive 3d model of a project can save critical time and money when multiple iterations and different levels of design detail are required. This can be especially true on large, complex projects where the ability to quickly generate project revisions and highly detailed part inventories can have a huge impact on the bottom line. We have found that our modeling solutions can also be beneficial for visualizing and completing smaller projects that include unique design challenges. Some recent examples of our 3d modeling work can be found below.
Examples of projects where we have made use of advanced software modeling include:
| Project | Model Details |
