project description
Heartland Engineering is excited to announce our selection for several upcoming street paving projects funded by the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Partnering with our Regional Planning Commissions and Councils of Government, we have secured contracts to help multiple communities each obtain approximately $500,000 in grant funding for city street repairs and drainage improvements.
We extend our gratitude to the communities that have chosen our firm for this important work, which includes the cities of Alton, Birch Tree, Delta, Fisk, Gideon, Neelyville, Qulin, Winona, and others.
Our team at Heartland Engineering is highly experienced at preparing street and drainage preliminary engineering reports for municipalities and counties. Each funding cycle we commonly submit multiple reports to CDBG to obtain funding for our clients. We complete these assessments free of charge to clients who have retained our firm for engineering services. Typically, once funding has been approved, we will complete engineering design the following spring and manage construction over the late spring and summer months.
