Civil Site Development for a Private Developer in Butler County, Missouri

In 2024, Heartland Engineering delivered a comprehensive civil-site engineering design for a new residential development in Poplar Bluff, MO. This project, featured eleven apartment buildings and involved water and sewer utility extensions to connect the buildings with the existing municipal systems to provide access to public utilities.

Our firm also designed and constructed a stormwater management system, including a detention basin, to effectively manage runoff and prevent flooding. A site grading plan was created to prepare the land for construction and to ensure proper street grades, parking, and stormwater drainage. Additionally, we designed the streets and parking areas, providing safe and convenient access for residents.

This project showcases our capability to provide complete engineering solutions that support sustainable and well-planned community development. These measures have resulted in a fully equipped residential complex that is well poised to serve its current and future residents.
